Barbara Nadel Architect (BNA) is an internationally recognized architectural consulting firm specializing in security planning, architectural programming, and design of civic, justice, healthcare, psychiatric, commercial, cultural, and institutional facilities.
BNA has been at the forefront of integrating security, sustainability, and energy efficiency for high-performance buildings that represent design excellence in civic architecture, and addressing security, justice, and healthcare industry trends, including special needs correctional facilities.
Established by Barbara A. Nadel, FAIA in 1992, BNA has collaborated with the world’s leading institutions, owners, architects, engineers, security consultants, design build teams, construction managers, and over 40 federal, state, and local government agencies in the U.S. and internationally. Prior to founding BNA, Ms. Nadel worked for several large, international architectural/engineering firms in New York City, Boston, and Providence, RI. She is a licensed architect in New York State. BNA is a New York State and New York City certified Woman Owned Business Enterprise (WBE).
